Regions play a crucial role in fostering Blue Growth, whether it is for shipping, blue biotechnology, coastal tourism or aquaculture. To promote interconnections within the Baltic Sea Region, the conference aims to build upon results of several transnational projects.

The conference starts with a plenary session where the projects’ results will be presented and discussed, followed by a session with parallel workshops on cross-sectoral cooperation. Before discussing the conclusions and steps forward, two more plenary sessions are organised to discuss techniques for fostering and financing Blue Growth.
